Our Day Centre caters for elderly people with restricted mobility, offering a warm welcome and friendship to people who would otherwise be alone for much of the time. Members enjoy the company of old and new friends in a comfortable lounge, and take part in activities, including occasional trips out.  We share a cooked meal, which is prepared on the premises by our volunteers.  Door-to-door transport is provided by minibus or car (our minibus has a tail-lift and can take wheelchairs).  Our catchment area is Cheadle Hulme, Cheadle, Gatley, Heald Green, Bramhall, Woodford.

Our members often come to us via Social Services or the recommendation of their doctor or home-help, but we also take people by direct application.  Prospective new members normally come for a trial visit, before making up their minds whether to join.

The Centre is staffed by about 30 volunteers, drawn not only from our own and other local churches, but also from the wider local community. It was set up with the encouragement of Social Services, and is funded mainly by members' contributions, but we also receive some financial support from AgeUK/Stockport.

We are open on Tuesdays-Wednesdays-Thursdays. We can be contacted on those days on 0161 439 3515
